Xact Wire EDM Corporation, a worldwide provider of premier wire EDM and high-speed small-hole EDM machining services is pleased to announce the addition of two significant pieces of equipment to their quality department. To assist with the increased demand for automated inspection capabilities, Xact Wire EDM has added a second Optical Gaging Products (OGP) Multi-Sensor measuring system. This OGP Flash 500 system allows a larger measuring envelope to compliment our OGP Avant 300 System.
Combined with additional software upgrades, this will ensure our customers that the most demanding geometries & tolerances can be accurately measured.

Our second equipment addition is a Geo.T Schmidt MicroLase marking system. This laser system will allow Xact Wire EDM to cleanly mark various materials including stainless steel, tungsten, nickel, tool steels & others utilizing a wide variety of fonts and symbols. This will give our customers extremely fast and flexible part identification for traceability.
